International Language Center at San Antonio
Lily is native of Taiwan and graduated from Hsiuping University of Science and Technology. She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese, Taiwanese and English. Since then, she lived all over the world working for the Department of Defense in the field of Finance and Accounting. In her spare time she has had the opportunity to teach basic and intermediate Chinese at the American high school. She also taught English and Mandarin Chinese to non-American students throughout the years in a group and individual setting. She currently resides in San Antonio with her husband, to be close to her daughters and grandchildren. Since July 2015, she has been part of the ILCSA team teaching Mandarin Chinese to individual students.
I am an accomplished, respected, Spanish–English bilingual international educator who mentors and connects people across cultures to accomplish their personal goals. I am also a versatile and experienced teacher from Pre-K to doctoral levels. My students describe me as patient, encouraging, and knowledgeable. They also appreciate that I push them to achieve their goals with my high expectations.
Regarding cultural sensitivity, I have lived in Puerto Rico (5 years), Panama (4 years) and Colombia (1 year)., and worked extensively with two universities in Ecuador which required numerous visits lasting from one week to four months. In my Ecuadorian work, I evaluate and advise students writing their Master’s Theses in both Spanish and English. I hold a BA degree in Spanish, and I have worked as a Spanish teacher at the Junior High and High School Levels.
Francesco was born and raised in Northern Italy and has had the pleasure and the privilege of teaching Italian for more then five years. He has taught students of all ages and from diverse background, in group, one-on-one classes and tutoring. His diploma is in classical studies, received in Bergamo – Italy, and he attended university in Padua and Rome, always in classical studies. He has received awards for his poetry and he is working in the music business here in USA and in Europe. He thinks make his language so unique and interesting.
Born in California, raised in West Africa, and schooled in Nebraska, Susan finally ended up in San Antonio where she has lived and worked for the last 20 years. Susan has more than 20 years teaching experience in the public and private sectors. She enjoys good pastries, good coffee, and good conversation.
My name is Erika Schrader Saldarriaga, I was born and raised in Colombia.
I am married and have two wonderful children. My family and I have had the opportunity to live in several countries. In 2001 we moved to Toledo, Ohio where we lived for 9 years. I studied Spanish as a second language and have worked as a teacher for language institutes and private schools since 2005.
Tsai Hsia Bull
My name is Tsai Hsia Bull (Cheri). I was born in Taiwan and I have been in the US for more than 20 years. I speak English and Chinese. My primary language is Chinese. I learned English in Denver, Colorado. I enjoy teaching Chinese.

Maria was born on January 22, 1966 in México City but she grew up in Puebla, México. She was raised with a very traditional family values, being the youngest of five children. She graduated with honors (Cum Laude) from“Universidad Vicente de Paul”. Earned the degree in Education on 1986. On 1987 she was certified by the international institute of Sugestopedia, educational system created by Dr. Georgi Losanv to integrate the hemispheres of the brain, increasing the process of learning with alpha music concerts and ludic activities.
My name is Alejandra Nuñez, I am originally from Puebla, Mexico, a state rich in culture and cuisine. I am 43 years old. I am a mother of two wonderful children and happily married for 18 years. I graduated in business administration, I studied at the Universidad Iberoamericana Golfo Center. I practiced business administration for three years in at Xerox Mexico as a trainer for the area of Customer Service. I also worked 15 years with the Puebla Government in various positions, at the time of my departure I was part of human resources as Deputy Director of training and planning. In 2012, My family and i came to this country. Here I have had the opportunity to continue providing training courses, as well as being a member of ILCSA where I am teaching my native language.
Spanish and English Teacher
He is a graduate of La Salle University in Mexico, with a MAA in Organizational Development from UIW. During his Master’s Program he also worked as an Academic Tutor where he had the opportunity to meet students from all over the world. He is bicultural and bilingual and has more than 15 years of experience in training and coaching sales teams. He enjoys sharing stories with others and teaching sports to children.
French and Arabic Teacher
I come from Lebanon. I’m blessed for having a wonderful family. We moved to San Antonio in 2013.
I’m a holder of a degree in languages and translation. I taught for more than 10 years in my country in both public and private schools. I love teaching and believe that learning a new language is like building bridges between different cultures.
I’m teaching Arabic and French at the ILCSA and I’m very happy to be part of the teaching staff.
Hi! My name is Alejandra Salinas, I am originally from Mexico. I have a law degree and a Masters degree in Human Resources Administration. In Mexico I taught at a University for five years teaching various subjects as: Administration, Public Administration and Communication. I moved to the US in 2005. I have been teaching Spanish at ILCSA since 2013. It has been a great experience. I really enjoy what I do.
I was born in Monterrey, Mexico and I have lived with my family in San Antonio since 2003. I am a Spanish Licensed Court Interpreter and I have been working in the legal field for 15 years. I also teach the Spanish-English Medical Interpreter course. I really enjoy teaching the Medical Interpreter course because I’m always learning new medical terminology from my students. I love spending time with my family visiting small towns around San Antonio and learning about the Texan culture. I have been part of the ILCSA family since 2014.
